Airline privatisation is challenging. Liberalisation is not easy, and models from USA, Europe or Asia may not necessarily work in Africa.Some of the documented benefits of privatisation of state owned enterprises are the reduction of excessive bureaucratic control, incompetence, mismanagement and corruption.
